Those 3 words describe a day in the life of me (specifically, today).
Not to get too detailed but, I studied for a midterm exam 4 days straight because of my 4 day weekends this semester. I was really prepared for this midterm and I just wanted to get it over with. I get to class early (because I panic when I’m close to being late) and I sit and wait for others to drift in. Fast forward to around 50 minutes of waiting and no one has showed up to administer the midterm. Great, we’re let out for the day and I begin my trek to Chipotle (very minimal walking, I spent most of my time on the skytrain).
I make it to Chipotle and I get my go-to. Chicken burrito bowl, cilantro-lime white rice, black beans, medium hot tomatillo green-chili salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa and lettuce. (Yes, I do opt out of the cheese and sour cream). I was so excited about my food that I just left before I remembered to put utensils into my takeout bag.
I didn’t find out until I got back to school and was about to sit down and eat it while watching episode 8 of season 5 of Game of Thrones. Which means I had to walk downstairs to the food court and stealthily take a fork and run back upstairs.
Overall, my morning was a bit annoying, but in the end Chipotle makes everything all better.
Hey look! I’m actually making an effort to write a post!
It’s been 6 months since I made my first blog post promising posts in the future and well, it’s finally here!
I’m currently in the middle of writing a program for class but I thought i’d take a break and write about my favourite thing in the world: food.
These photos were taken in June of 2013 for my photography 12 class final project. We got to choose our subject and I obviously chose food photography. I went to my favourite restaurant, Catch 122 (122 W Hastings St in Gastown) and took photos using my DSLR as well as a canon SLR film camera.
I’ve been thinking of creating a food blog for a while now, and since I’m finally done my Fall semester of classes, what better time than now! I don’t really read food blogs, so I don’t know If I will be creating one like others you’ve seen before. It’ll probably just be me talking about food that I eat along with nice photos. (Unless all food blogs are like that, then whoops! This will be exactly the same as theirs.) Also, I’m trying to figure out if I can upload my own code to make my own layout for WordPress? I’m not really sure how this works, let me know if you can help though!
